About
Description
This is a game in which you and the other players try to predict the results of the matches in the FIFA World Cup 2022.
You will get awarded points for guessing who wins each match (local / visitor / tie), and even more points for guessing the exact final score of the match (more below).
You also need to guess, before FIFA World Cup 2022 starts, who the champion, runner-up, and third place will be.
Whoever gets the most points at the end of the tournament wins!
One of the things that makes this polla (pool) way more fun than others is that you can edit your predictions however frequently you'd like... up until each match has started. This allows you to refine your predictions as you watch the teams play throughout the tournament.
To add to the excitment, once a match starts every prediction made by every other player is published so you can follow along. Points and rankings are recalculated live as goals are scored. Even Tunisia vs Australia is exciting when you play Polla Qatari 2022!

Point system
Predict the Winners of FIFA World Cup 2022.- Select who you think will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
- Exact prediction gets you 3 points. For example, you guess Mexico will win and it happens.
- Inexact prediction gets you 1 point. For example, you guess Mexico will be second but they are actually champions.
- Predicting that a team makes it to the top three but they don't gets you 0 points. Oops!
- Predict the exact score for the match, then you get 3 points.
- Predict the outcome of the match β who wins, loses, or if there is a tie β but not the exact score, then you get 1 point.
- If your prediction for the outcome of the match is wrong, you get 0 points.
- For playoff games, only the score after regular time (first 90 minutes + injury time) is taken into account. Extra time and penalties are not considered.
- All points obtained are added in order to obtain your total.
- If you don't submit a prediction before its deadline, you get 0 points for it. Oops!

For fun. I love running it, I love developing it, I love playing it. People who have played before love it too. It makes the tournament so much more fun.
Everyone here is a friend or a friend of a friend. If you landed here randomly you are welcome to join. But if you have trust issues, maybe you should not play.
Relax. Entering payment information into the database is one of the few non-automated things in Polla Qatari 2022. It may take up to a day. As long as you send the payment before the first game starts, you are OK.
Inflation. But if you can't afford it then you could try to play for free by getting 6 referrals. More information in the payments page.
It is a delicate balance. I want as many of my friends to join, not only those with gambling problems. But I also want the prize to be attractive. $35 is what I landed on.
Relax. Entering scores is the other non-automated thing in Polla Qatari 2022. Even our small contingent of soccer-loving volunteers fall behind once in a while. Please be patient.
Passwords are stored securely (hashed and salted) so even I cannot read them. The website uses TLS so all traffic is encrypted. With that said, please be safe and use a unique strong password.
Hell yeah! I want in on the fun too! And since everyone can see all posted results, it's not like anyone can cheat.
Yes. Just go to the Predictions page.
For your convenience, the deadline for entering winners and kickoff time for each match is right there in the Predictions page.
As teams advance to the next round, we will update the Predictions page to show them properly.
They are not considered. Only enter the predicted score for the regular time! This means that you could enter a tie for the Final, if you believe it will go to Extra Time.
Of course! Odds are you will beat some soccer "experts" anyway.
